Out

No tengo tiempo.

Besos y abrazos.

The time has arrived

Well, the time has arrived. The time to finish with Ten to the Dozen.
But that this blog isn't existing anymore does not mean that I won't be here anymore.

I will be at

Thank you for being here, see you there.

Silencio

El Silencio es parte de la conversación.

"¿Por qué no te callas?"
Juan Carlos I de España

*

¡Qué bonito!
Rosario Flores

Qué bonito cuando te veo, ay
qué bonito cuando te siento
qué bonito pensar que estás aquí
junto a mí.

Qué bonito cuando me hablas, ay
qué bonito cuando te callas

qué bonito sentir que estás aquí
junto a mí, ay

Qué bonito sería poder volar
y a tu lado ponerme yo a cantar
como siempre... lo hacíamos los dos
Que mi cuerpo no para de notar
que tu alma conmigo siempre está
y que nunca de mi se apartara
ayyy

Qué bonito tu pelo negro, ay
qué bonito tu cuerpo entero
que bonito, mi amor, todo tu ser
sí tu ser

Qué bonito cuando acaricio, ay
tu guitarra entre mis manos
que bonito poder sentirte así
siempre así

Changes (again) in this city life (again)

It's been a fortnight since I arrived in this town. And even though I don't have a job yet, I don't have much time. Madonna was wrong.
I walk around the city and I see many things that have changed. The Uniqlo that had closed, opened again. Some other shops vanished, some of them that I liked, even. And where I used to go to buy pens, now there is a nice tea shop. Or a horrible Starsbucks.
The sun is shining and sometimes I am hot. But it is chilly in the evenings.
People has forgotten how to walk, and I keep bumping into them.
The Underground has "planned works" all over and even fires.
I prefer the bus. The open double decker buses are gone. The 49 has changed and I haven't seen a worm 25 yet.
Or I walk. I like walking, but I get lost.
I have come across very nice people, these days. And I have met with friends I hadn't seen in such a long time. I missed them, and seeing them smile or laugh make me so happy.
I've gone to the cinema and I can't wait to start doing other activities.
I went to the gardens.
I've eaten scones and carrot cake.
I've cooked.
I've baked.
I've kneaded.
I've knitted.
I've studied and read a lot.
And just yesterday, when I was on the 14 bus home, Lily whispered in my ears again.

Sun is in the sky
Oh why, oh why
Would I wanna be anywhere else?

And, really, why, if here I feel home and loved?

PS Thank you, and don't you ever say thank you again.

My comma

As you know, I had lost a comma.
Then, I though I had found it.

And, suddenly, my friend Life'sGood, sent this to me:

She had found it in England.

Who would have know that a comma like this would have travelled, hitch-hiking and all, to return to where she was born.

Now, she is waiting for me in my new home, over there, in London.

I can't wait to see you. Just a few hours.

"I can work in a coffee shop"

I talked few times about borders and foreign affairs. I talked about Catalunya and a possible separation from the rest of the State. I talked about Scotland. And I talked about other minorities that are unheard. Unlistened.
I said before that I don't like borders, passports, but that I like being European. I said before that I would abolish any separation (or leave them just conceptually, i.e. not physically).
I talked before about bureaucracy, and how bad it is.
But today, I have to say, thanks.
Thanks to those who think and work to help others.
Thanks, because you brought so much happiness.
Today I like borders. But next year, I will like them even more.

No sabéis nada.

No quiero fronteras.

Two elements

This summer I started a new creative aspect. I have created a few t-shirts. I hadn't done anything like that since I used to create my own garmets when I was a teenager. This time is different. I used a new program (FreeHand) that I had never used and I enjoyed doing so, and then I sent them to print.
This is one of the t-shirts I did (other take here).

Today I saw for first time the video of Ivri Lider's "Kach Bara Otcha Hateva" from his album "Fight!" where he covers some Henree songs. I loved the song. From second one. But somehow I felt it was attached to that t-shirt. (Sometimes I gather two elements together under one same label even thought they might not look like they have anything in comon.) Yes, it is true that the video has a word that appears as well on the shirt, but it isn't only t hat. There is something else. What, I wouldn't know.

Azul

Blue (Da Ba De)
Eiffel 65

Yo listen up here's a story
About a little guy that lives in a blue world
And all day and all night and everything he sees
Is just blue like him inside and outside
Blue his house with a blue little window
And a blue corvette
And everything is blue for him and himself
And everybody around
Cos he ain't got nobody to listen to

I'm blue da ba dee da ba die...

I have a blue house with a blue window.
Blue is the colour of all that I wear.
Blue are the streets and all the trees are too.
I have a girlfriend and she is so blue.
Blue are the people here that walk around,
Blue like my corvette, it's standing outside.
Blue are the words I say and what I think.
Blue are the feelings that live inside me.

All I need

Yesterday I helped on a move.
Boxes, boxes, bags and suitcases.
Thousands of them.

One year? Is it one year to accumulate all that? Wow. I don't have that many things and it's been almost three for me. Three? or a life time? I can't even remember.
You know, there is many people who have no clothes to wear.
I have three pairs of shoes. And that's enough.
This winter I've been throwing things out and giving things away. I haven't finished. And when I finally move, then, I'll be done. I don't want to give my books away. I already did give many of them. But I am not moving them.

I don't need many things. I'm waiting for you to take me to the Langue d'Oc or for you to take me to Danmark. I'll fill one suitcase with two or three books, two pairs of jeans, 4 t-shirts, some underwear and the shoes I am wearing. Oh, and my Laptop to keep you up to date. That's all.

That's all I need.

I'm ready.
Take me.

Recortes de una semana

Me gustas tú

"¡Wapasa!"

STOP, in the name of Love

Before you break my heart

He encontrado una coma.

Gracias sobretodo a ti.

Se fué
Quizás me deba alejar.

You know, he's got green eyes too.
P'aps it's me who isn't looking.

Desert

"I don't know why I was just looking for the sea"

Désert

"Le désert de mon cœur"

He descongelado el ¡Jo!

No quiero escoger.

Fast Car

Fast Car

PS Quizás me vaya.

Went to the shop

Though, I am super happy today.

"I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'"

This last few days it has been raining. It rains one day, the next it is bright and shining. But I got happy it was raining. I missed rain. I like rain. One morning, I got out, and it was chilly (I had my cardigan on) and all misty and wet. It felt London-y. I liked it. I took a train. It felt London-y. I walk around another city. It felt London-y. I loved it.
When it has actually been raining I have always been home or getting there. The rain in Spain does not always fall on the plain. And what is worse, the rain (and especially the summer rain) is totally different: if it rains, it pours. I don't remember rains like this in London. Even lights went off many times. One day it caught me on my way home. My sister drove most of the way, but I had to drive a bit. I could see nothing. I was like 1m/h and I could see just rain falling on my windshield.
I like rain. I missed it.

But, honey, don't you worry, cos "I just did me some talkin' to the sun".

Other rains: 1, 2.

Shut me

Now the Sirens have a still more fatal weapon than their song, namely their silence... Someone might possibly have escaped from their singing; but from their silence, certainly never.

Missed Connection

I am such a fool.
All around me is mist, mist in each of its colours.
I should have said something, I know, but I couldn't. I was so scared.
Green is starting to get the best of colours.
All the same, isn't it, my friend?
An A can be very important. Ask Joan Brossa.
